What interesting looking nests! What kind of birds? A terrific photo composition to show them so well

I love this Sylvia, so typical for our country :-)

@ludwigsdiana I am not sure of the kind of birds building the nests. Do you know the birds?

Great capture, could they be a type of weaver?

How wonderful, apartment living for birds.

@sdutoit Not too sure Sylvia, it could be Weavers judging by the opening. There are social Weavers that build very similar, except they are bunched closer together.

@sdutoit When I was in Africa I saw some nests similar to this and I think I was told they are weaver bird nests.I couldn't think of that when I first saw your photo.

@grammyn Thanks for the information.

@grammyn I Googled the weaver photos. It seems to be a weaver nest. I did learn something now. This tree grows on somebody else's land. I never saw any birds there when I looked at it. The only weaver nest I know is like the photo I placed on 2 February 2018.

@grammyn Wish I could offer you a cup of coffee now. My home is just behind that trees on the left. It is a bit to far for me to go and check them. Next time I will stop there. Thanks for what I learned now.
