NO INTERNET....DON'T WONDER WHY....

Not my photo's. Just for those who wonder what cable theft is. This is what it look like. It happens overnight and the next morning you suffer for a day without electricity. They do sell the copper.

@annied Annie this happened on Monday. On Wednesday they did the same thing only a few km away. It happens all over the country. It only started happening here recently. Then you still have load shedding to. Ha ha electricity is a luxury!

That must be aggravating to say the very least! We have this here too but generally it is in areas where houses are empty. We definitely do not have it to the extent that you do.

Good heavens - that seems a lot of trouble for them to go to - I had no idea it was so valuable. And what an annoying thing for everybody else!

(They did this on our country by the railroads. Now they have replace the copper for less interresting metals.)

Great captures but so annoying. We had a spate of metal theft in the UK church lead roofs, road signs and even drain and manhole covers. I think it is much better now the govt. stepped in and only allowed payment to go through a bank account so that it was traceable.

This is crazy! What a shame and pain in the a--! We have had a rise in catalytic converter ( decreases car emissions) thefts due to high metal prices and the pandemic...
