Flowers arrived today from my wonderful sister-in-law and brother in America. No birthday, no real reason except except to say they are thinking of me, and happy valentine.
this is also my first attempt at achieving my Get Pushed Challenge for this week, (but surely not my last)
My Get Pushed challenge for this week from 356Anne is:
For your challenge how about gathering together 4 or 5 objects that you would not normally find together and shoot them in a way that is interesting and pleasing yo you. Have fun...
...so I am already thinking in that direction and had to fit in a quick photo in the middle of my working day. (naughty, naughty. But who can resist a new bunch of flowers to shoot). My 3 or 4 objects that wouldn't normally go with flowers are associated with my sister-in-law (except for the dead butterfly who just kind of balances the right hand side). Anne has made me lovely beaded bracelets, and also had the silver necklace with the little camera made for me with my name engraved in it. I wear it all the time.
@365anne Thanks Anne. The dancing man is also associated with my sister in law, who's name is also Anne. She sent it to me as part of a little parcel for my photography as the only little model I had at the time was my lego man, Elvis.
like the fact that your random things are actually linked - various things resonate: the living flowers and the dead butterfly, the little camera photoed with a camera, the front beads picking up the colours of the flowers. Try some more!
