Took a ride to the harbour again today. Did me the world of good to get out on my bike on a number of different levels. I know this image is rather cluttered with my bike in it too, but so is my mind cluttered right now.
@anniesue Thank you. Yes you are right - the bike was an important part of the shot to me. Takes me back to a happy childhood .... my parents were very poor and they saved a whole month of wages to buy me a bike that was to last me until I sold it as a young adult. It was much too big for me as a little girl. My feet couldn't reach the ground, but once my Dad taught me to ride by running behind holding the bike up, there was no holding me back, and I spent many happy hours riding around.
@narayani Thank you - I am sure I will soon move onto a calmer half. I have much to look forward to. My sister in law arrives from America soon to help me sort my parents stuff. My daughter gets married mid December ...
