Dusty

The South Easter has been blowing here - day after day. And with no vegetation left to hold the soil together, and no moisture to damp it down, the sand is blowing with the wind. No wonder I can't keep up with the housework, and everything just feels dusty and gritty all the time! So hoping we get some good rains this winter! (And so hope those splodges I can see are marks on the windscreen and not dirt on my sensor or lens!)

I worry about the poor sheep standing in this. I can hear the sand blasting the side of the car as we drive through it. What is it doing to the their eyes out in the middle of these dusty fields.

Oh it looks bleak! Great capture. (Poor sheep 🙁)

I've been seeing the same sight today, only with snow which fortunately is pretty clean when it melts.

@narayani @777margo @beckyk365 Yes it is bleak, and I do hope the rain comes soon!
@bf2016 Yes, I imagine snow is a lot cleaner. (But I have realised it comes with its own dangers. My nephew and his wife have their basement flooded due to rising river levels and melting snow - they are on the Kalamazoo River. So I guess I'm lucky to just have dust)
