I love how ripples from the cormorant fishing are creating lovely zig zaggy reflections. And I realised I was focused on reflections without the objects causing them because that is a reflection of my life again. Everything got turned upside down, but not in a bad way. My friend Gail had plans to go away for 3 weeks on holiday. She didn't need me this time to look after her office because she employed a young man some 6 months ago, and helped him get on his feet. Well, suddenly a day before their holiday she needed me after all - Jason wrote off the car they bought him DUI and has ended up in jail. I have all sorts of things planned to do at home. I wasn't factoring this into my life. But I can't let her down so I'm back in the office again for a while.
O Desi...what a disappointment for you. You sound very pragmatic about it, although I imagine it's not what you need/want right now. Stay calm...easy for me to say that from this distance. Unexpected hitches often turn out well. Bon courage!

Thanks - yes the timing is not really very convenient for me, but friends are there when they are needed, not just when it is convenient ... and Frank & Gail need me now. It is such a disappointment for them that Jason has let them down. I am sure everything will work out fine for me - perhaps the extra pressure is good to keep me on my toes. LOL
