A dark and stormy Sunday by seacreature

A dark and stormy Sunday

Took the dogs walking down by the river today for a change, instead of around the marina. It was a very low tide so there were lots of birds scratching around in the mud along the banks of the river. Dark and stormy with an icy cold wind blowing - but no more rain yet (although my rainwater tank is still full from the last rain a few days ago)
A wonderful scene and great capture. Love the pop of colour of the boats and the gulls circling. We had a lot of rain this afternoon. Where do you live Desi?

@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. I live in Port Owen - nestled between Velddrif and Laaiplek about 150km up the West Coast from Cape Town (just past Langebaan). So the river which features in many shots is the Great Berg River. And of course the Port Owen Marina as well.

@seacreature How wonderful Desi, I love that part of the Cape. We try go up there every year. We have friends who have a farm on the Berg River. Langebaan and Shelley point have lovely golf courses which we enjoy playing :-)
