Charlie & Max (and Holly a little ahead)

Both steadfastly refusing to turn their heads to look at me! Another photo from tomorrow. Today was another day of intermittent rain and fog. And a trip to the vet in Vredenburg for annual vaccinations - rabies plus whatever else is in the cocktail they give the dogs. But with the decent rainy season we are having so far this year the first wild flowers are appearing (although these are just weeds but they are bright and pretty anyway). The dam levels in the Western Cape have risen to an average of 31% of capacity compared to this time last year when the average was only 23% of capacity. So we can't relax our water saving measures yet as we are still a long way from having full dams, but the countryside is looking good and I'm hoping for a good flower season end of July.
This is lovely, I know of Charlie and Max but Holly is new to me. So happy about the rain and mother nature slowly showing some colour.

@ludwigsdiana I have 4 yorkies. Tug and Holly are old now and we have had them since puppies. They are quiet and well behaved, and providing we are away from roads / traffic I don't walk them on leads. Holly is tiny, only 2kg. Tug is about 5kg. Then I got Charlie and Max - two abused and abandoned rescues who came with a lot of psychological baggage. I walk them on leads because they don't stay close to me, and still don't always come when I call them to me, and the road and traffic is not all that far, so I worry they will get run over as they have no road sense at all. They are getting more obedient, and more normal all the time, and one of these days I will try letting them off lead again and see what happens.

Where’s Tug?

@narayani Tug was further ahead out of the frame. Little beastie trots on ahead when we are going, but then when it is time to turn around and go back he drags his little heels and I have to keep looking back and waiting for him and calling him

@bf2016 Pups are very happy out walking. The excitement levels when they hear the drawer opening where there leads are kept, is really quite something.
