So pretty- are the yellow and orange ones Gazanias? We have them pop up on the verges here in the suburbs and I’ve dug up quite a few and transplanted them to my place 😉
@ludwigsdiana The countryside is filled with them already - way too early. I believe the West Coast National Park is already ablaze with colour. By the time Free Week comes around in September the flowers will probably all be gone, so Karen and I are planning to go pretty soon instead of chancing it waiting for free week.
@narayani No, none of these are gazanias. I am not well versed in identifying our wild flowers and am thinking perhaps I should buy myself a book. However, I somehow think these flowers might be Arctotis Daisies? I will try and find out more though
@beckyk365 Yes, it does create a sense of excitement to see our normally dry, brown/yellow countryside covered in flowers (especially after the serious drought and dust this past season)
