A lovely evening on the beach after a sweltering hot day today. So nice to just get out and get my feet wet in the ocean. Yesterday was such a stressful day, so it was great when my photo buddy, Karen, came to pick me up this evening to go off to the beach together for sunset.
@narayani Thanks Narayani. Stressful dealing with Multichoice (our DStv provider) in the morning. I always pay more than my monthly account so that there is always a credit to turn the DStv on at the apartment when I have guests arriving. I paid R1000 on 29th Sept even though my payment date is 6th of each month and I only owed R188 this month. But they couldn't find my payment and I had guests arriving in the afternoon. It was their mistake and they had to reverse the reconnection fees, but it took a long time on the phone to sort it out. And then the biggest bombshell was when I phoned the physician to confirm my hubby's appointment in Cape Town as he needs a spinal fusion and had to see the attending physician the day before. All planned for the 1st Nov and I have booked a dog sitter to be at home, booked accommodation in Cape Town so I can be there when he comes out of theatre and visit afterwards, etc. The physician's rooms told me it has been shifted to 15th Nov. But we haven't been informed of this by the surgeon - and they had gone off for Friday afternoon so then I had to try and make back up plans for dog sitting just in case. But I still don't actually know for sure if the reschedule is true or not.
so great to be able to go out and release that stress. I think the balance of the figures here to beach/ sea/ sky proportion-wise and placement is excellent
