Otherwise known as passion fruit.
Had a really busy day today, and the wind was really blowing so I didn't think I would get any outdoor flower shots, but while I was pouring a bucket of rain water onto my granadilla I noticed one of the fronds with a flower had blown into the cycad nearby and was caught there, more or less stable, so I decided to attempt some shots between gusts. Sure hoping all the flowers I'm seeing will present me with some fruit before too long
Aren’t the flowers amazing?! Great shot. Mine has produced SO much fruit, but it’s not nice! 😩 The vine was given to me and I don’t know the variety...looks fantastic, but the fruit is so sour, almost bitter.
@365anne@homeschoolmom@777margo@s4sayer@lenanau@4rky Thank you all for the lovely comments @narayani What a pity your fruit is sour. Perhaps you could try feeding the plant with Epsom Salts. That helps to make citrus e.g. Oranges taste sweeter, so perhaps it might have the same effect on other fruit. But of course it will take quite a few months before you can tell as the epsom salts gets absorbed into the plant
