Charlie's Brewhouse

Tonight was the opening of the brewery at Charlie's Brewhouse. The restaurant has been open for about 6 months now, and they have been buying in kegs of beer while the brewery was being installed. Tonight it is all ready and the first brews will start brewing. These are 100ml sample glasses. I liked the stout best, but Don liked the blonde on the far right. Now they start building on a new building with stills for gin
What fun! Breweries, often called a microbrewery or craft brewery, are very popular here. They’re popping up everywhere. We often order a flight which is a small sampling of 4 or 5 beers. My son Andy likes stouts but I’m not a big fan.

Lovely image Desi. I don’t think I’ve had stout since I breast fed! Bring on the gin!

Not a beer drinker at all, lovely shot though.

This sounds like an enterprise that is destined to succeed! I do hope so. Our local bar is also a bistro/restaurant and a butchery. It's the heartbeat of the village, complemented by an Excellent 1 Stop Shop, ditto Bakery and another bar.

@beckyk365 I didnt' know it was called a flight to order this sampling of 4 beers. Thanks for that info. I'm not a big beer drinker - usually have a glass of wine if we are out somewhere. But I do enjoy it on occasion. I haven't had stout for ages, but this one was quite nice.

@narayani hahaha. I remember my mother telling me to drink stout, but although I was always so self conscious about my small breasts, turned out I could've fed an army of infants so avoided the stout. LOL

@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana

@s4sayer Yes I'm positive it will succeed. Russell has not skimped on anything, including the advertising and marketing. He had professional photographers there so I didn't get many shots as I was careful not to invade their turf or get in their way
