It has been sooo long since I have been out for a sunset or landscape shot, so this evening I treated myself to the luxury of some "me - time". I deleted the first 15 photos of the sunset and lovely clouds because .... wait for it .... I forgot a really basic camera setting to turn Image Stabilisation off on my lens because my camera was on a tripod. All the photos were just not quite sharp as a result. By the time I realised and corrected my mistake the sun was long gone so I only ended up with one keeper tonight. But I'm happy I got one. Just shows how valuable doing 365 is to just instill good practices! Also, I was struggling with composition after such a long time of not shooting any landscapes.
Just beautiful! (you're supposed to turn off Image Stabilization when you use a tripod?! I didn't know that!! Oops. I don't use the tripod very often but good to know.I have a Canon also. If I were using my iphone right now I would insert an embarrassed emoji face)
