Research the partial lunar eclipse to make sure I have the right times .... set alarm for 4:30am ....weather perfect ...visibility infinity ... in the car and down to the river only to find the mist starts rolling in as I arrive with the moon soon totally invisible. By about 5:45 am I knew the moon was about to sink below the horizon so was actually packing up my gear to depart, and the moon made a brief appearance before it quickly slipped down out of sight. So my couple of hurried photos are disappointing. No time to fiddle and get my settings right. Now I know the pressure of shooting with film - get it right first time. LOL
