This was shot from my grandson's digs at his university res in Cape Town next Saturday. Normally he has a wonderful view of Table Mountain from his window, but today the mountain is completely obscured by dark stormy clouds. Kind of represents the way I felt on this Monday after Old Mutual rejected my application to have Don's pension transferred to me until I can get a 3 page document satisfactorily completed by the police station where the death was reported.
@s4sayer Thank you. Yes I do like the clouds in this instance. Hiding the all imposing Table Mountain backdrop made the little bit of architecture I could spot above the trees into a focal point. The rest of the church was completely hidden behind the trees
@anniesue Yes you are right, they do have to dot all the i's and cross the t's, although I'm afraid I'm a little cynical as it's not a life insurance policy but a lump sum investment that was made with them.
Oh Desi....all the bureaucracy you have to fight through when you’re grieving...I hope you can stay strong and get what you’re owed. Nice moody photo too.
