Just felt I had to go back to the harbour again this afternoon. All the fishing boats were out at sea, but there were some fishermen standing at the edge of the quay with hand lines, a few seals darting around in the water, and this poor little puppy walking up and down looking for something. I suspected it needed water in today's hot sun and asked the fishermen where was water for their puppy. Was told there is no tap nearby. Fortunately I had a bowl and a bottle of water in my car boot that I keep there for my own dogs, so I donated the bowl and filled it up - puppy just drank and drank and drank. I left the remainder of the bottle of water and asked the fishermen to please always bring water for their puppy, and to bring the bowl I have given it. I hope I have made a difference in one little dog's life.
