The B'nB Don and I had booked and paid for months ago close to Amy and Aiden's wedding venue. A few tears of self pity when I found my host, not knowing my changed circumstances, had upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. And there I was all alone in this beautiful suite that I know Don would've loved too.
But then I realised I must simply enjoy the moment and move on with my life, so I lit the candles around the bath when I got back after the wedding, and luxuriated in that big oval bathtub. I felt a little guilty about using water - I haven't had a bath for over a year now as I just have quick showers each day to save water.
