A model wedding? by seacreature

A model wedding?

Another one from the weekend - Canon SA even had the models dress up as brides and grooms to pose for us in a few locations. That was quite a challenge trying to get exposure right and trying to get a decent shot between the jostle of other folk. Can't believe the rudeness of some who came and planted themselves right in front of me and then didn't move for ages so I was forced to try and find a different spot to shoot from. Although I thought afterwards I should learn to stand up for myself and tell the intruder he is in my way and to please move to the side!
That must have been a real tricky number, the contrast could not have been greater. You did very well here.

@ludwigsdiana Thank you. Yes indeed, the contrast was huge. She is a darker black than most local black folk, so I wondered if she might be Nigerian rather than South African, and he was quite a pale white

I can imagine what a nightmare setting the exposure was, and then you had the speckled sun to deal with too. Nice shot, though.

they really set you a poser here - well done. And it's easy to say "stand up for yourself" but if you've chosen a place that others then want, it's obviously a good place - so see if you can summon a little assertiveness!

Wonderful shot of a challenging couple Desi. And yes, people are rude and it’s good to learn some assertiveness. And sometimes it’s easier to just walk away...

@lynne5477 @anniesue @narayani @777margo Thank you very much for the comments. I guess for me it is all just good experience. I suppose it is not like it was something really important for me to capture - like a real wedding!
