Blowing in the wind ... by seacreature

Blowing in the wind ...

Hardly the most inspiring scene, but yet I love seeing the bed linen blowing gently in the wind. Reminds me of childhood Mondays at Granny's house, and the sense of anticipation knowing I would have freshly ironed and starched sheets to slip into that night. Oh how I loved freshly ironed, starched sheets. I still do.
Nice image. It does bring comforting memories. I never iron or starch my sheets but I love the smell of sheets that have dried in the sun. Mine are in the machine as I type thanks to Max throwing up on them this morning 😕

Could be almost in the same place...behind our whirlygig dryer we’ve a large pine tree...distant cousin perhaps of your more exotic version.

@narayani Oops. The joys of having pets who are part of your family ... I had to wash all my bedding because I was sleeping in spills of paediatric panado syrup, & benylin with codeine from trying to dose Holly through the night. (I have adopted a new strategy now - no more panado and benylin and inhaler spray keeping a log of when she had each ... instead I am giving her tiny bits of cooked lambs liver. It is soft to chew now her teeth have been removed, and the chewing and swallowing action seems to be generating saliva to lubricate her throat. Or at least that's my theory anyway. But it is as effective as the medication and I am sure less harmful in the long run providing I make her meals smaller to compensate)

@s4sayer Oh wow. How interesting to hear little details like that from another continent, climate, and language can be so similar!
