Today I decided once again to attempt to get some decent photos of Max and Charlie. After many deleters I finally managed to get something that is not too bad with only his ears chopped off but his face in reasonable focus.
Max is a lot easier than Charlie for many reasons. Firstly Charlie seems very shy about having his photo taken and will not look at the camera. Also, autofocus doesn't seem to work very well on Charlie's eyes. I think perhaps with his light ginger hair and light brown eyes and nose compared with darker eyes of most dogs, there is not enough contrast for the autofocus to pick up??? Not to mention the fringe that falls over his eyes because he keeps looking down when I try and point the camera at him
