Finally felt my elbow was healed sufficiently to venture out for a walk with Max and Charlie this evening. I thought with the cloud cover we had there might be a stunning sunset, but there was nothing spectacular - and even after sunset when it can often be its best, it just became dark quickly instead of colourful

My elbow was hurt quite badly last week when I was walking dogs at the river and another large friendly dog off lead came bounding along to entice my two dogs on lead to play. Large dog came running along at right angles to my direction, and ran against my left leg, knocking my feet out from under me - but sideways towards my right - causing me to fall heavily onto my left elbow and hip. It took a few days for me to even be able to slide open the pot drawer in the kitchen, for example. Thank goodness I didn't need to access any other large drawers in my bedroom... But a few days of rest and nursing it and I am almost back to normal now.
