This kindly gentleman was gracious enough to allow me to take a photo of him in his welding workshop this evening, and then even thank me for wanting to take a photo of him!

I am often pleasantly surprised that when I step out of my comfort zone and start talking to perfect strangers, how many of them are really nice people. I have always been a kind of introverted or shy flower on the wall kind of person, so it is a conscious effort every time. However, I tell myself "it is easier because it is a one on one interaction and I am fine with that. It's not like being in a group of chatterboxes which intimidates me, so I can talk to this stranger"
