Sunrise is getting so late these days that being out before sunrise doesn't require one to be up particularly early - it just requires one to drag oneself out in the cold darkness! This was 7:15am and the sun still wasn't up. Earlier the colours were more vivid but it was still pretty dark - especially when trying to hand hold a camera and two dogs on leads!
