Today is a photo of something that means something to me. This is The Star, a pub in West Leake, near where I live. Locally we call it The Pit House.
The Star has been closed off and on for 4 or 5 years, but a friend of mine has taken the challenge on, refurbed it and it reopens next week.
I own a small Microbrewery (hobby!) and they will be stocking one of my beers, so today was delivery day!!
In this time of closing pubs, it is great to see one being regenerated. I will be in there regularly, so if you are ever passing, I'll buy you a pint!!
Great that new life is being poured into this old pub (sorry...couldn't help the little pun). And kudos to you for having your beer as part of their menu!
