Sam has taught himself how to play Electric, Bass and now Acoustic guitar. I am in awe of what he has achieved, on top of forming a band, and now working towards Grade 4 drums.
he was strumming away at Hurt, which though not an original Cash song is one of the most powerful performances of a song I have ever heard.
I heard him strumming away an hour or so ago and that gave me my idea for my low key shot.
A cool shot for the theme! Sam sounds like he's exploring all his options musically, and that's such a great thing for a young man to do. I'm always telling my kid to look at the options and to create opportunities for himself, and that there's nothing like learning more of something you have a real interest in, never mind what other people say. @fannyb Sam has the same personality as me, magnified a little, but I am most definitely not musical. My creativity extends to my camera only. Any musical talent is definitely from Rebecca.
@myautofocuslife Thank you Livia, I am very proud of him, though at times our identical personalities clash a little. He is a wonderful lad, and has some wonderful talents. I will pass your best wishes on and I know he will be delighted to receive them.
