This time last year, I was awarded Clubman of the Year at Kegworth Town Cricket Club for services as a coach, fundraiser, tour organiser in the previous year. This photo is of the trophy, which has stood proudly in my lounge all year.
I was a very proud recipient of this prestigious award, which has many illustrious previous winners.
Tomorrow, I have to give it back so somebody else can be awarded with it.
It is our annual presentation night, when we will rightly applaud the efforts of our players and helpers. Today has been a day of running around collecting trophies, projectors, sorting marquees etc. Tomorrow is a similar day before the evening starts at 5pm. So, I will catch up with all your photos on sunday. Just one more cricket commitment before that!
Well done Sean! Don't know how you find the time to fit everything in! I like this shot probably because the shadow balances the trophy itself. But for reasons I can't explain, I like the highlight in the trophy, contrasting with that dark shadow. Not the obvious way to photograph it

Honestly Sean, I don't know where you find the energy or the time to do as much as you do ! And you're still keeping up with 365 on top of everything else ! I think they should let you keep this trophy :)
Great shot of your trophy. I bet you didn't think it was going to come back to your lounge for another year! Well done to your wife! It sounds like you're family is a backbone of your club.
