@lisjam1@fannyb@sailingmusic Thank you all, yes, the continuous line was on purpose. Thanks for the fav. I appreciate your comment about the framing, out of interest, what colour would you have done the frame? I rarely frame a shot, so it would be interesting to hear what colour you would use.
Love it Sean & the way you have composed this with the continuation. I personally would not have framed it if you ask & left the simplicity of the shot speak for itself. Still a fabulously simple photo!
Great shot Sean I love these types of natural line and the colours in this one make at a +FAV for me..
I first saw this done by Keith Richards a few months ago and I have always fancied giving it a go but I am not sure I could ever do as well as this or Keith's shot here: http://365project.org/kaynadog/365/2012-06-14
oh very nice, awesome rocks and love your composition! I'm another not sold on the frame... I'd probably not had one at all, but can't offer another colour cos if I did frame (and as you know, I don't lol) then I'd have to play.... and I'd probably go thinner?
@ruthmouch His flight landed about 30 minutes ago Ruth, he will be home at about 8pm I guess. I can't wait to see him and here all about his adventures, I've missed him so much :) Thank you for asking, how thoughtful of you.
@ruthmouch For sure Ruth. He just called me so I heard hi svoice for the first time in 11 days. It sounds soppy, but I had tears in my eyes talking to him. Don't tell anyone!!!
What a great, creative shot. Love the simplicity of it and think it would make a great pic for the wall. I think the shot without a frame would work really well too.
I love it - but would've fav it twice if I could if it didn't have a border. I would love to see the stones and lines 'free' rather than 'framed'. I'm not a huge fan of borders - but that's a me thing. Love the subject matter and the way you composed them so that the lines run into each other.
@thebluegnu Thank you. Unframed version in my other album. I'm not a massive fan of borders either, there are probably less than 10 pics in all 700+ of mind that have a frame. I appreciate everyone's candour, and yours too. :))
