Today's word is.......Collection

"Rebecca, today's word is Collection, and I don't collect anything, what shall I do?"

"Ah, Sean, you collect beer glasses, photography books, photography magazines, camera gear, crime novels, antique radios, bronze horse statues.........."

"OK Rebecca, fair point. All that thinking has made me thirsty. I'll have a pint in my favourite beer glass"

I have a collection of about 150 or so glasses that have been loaned to me by various hostelries around the world.
Still on loan? I hope you don't get library charges :) beautiful beer glass.

@seanoneill you can't control what you collect :) if you could I'd collect money.

This IS a very nice glass Sean, love the big blue bow and the hops! My dad was a brewer!! He would have approved of your collection!

@tishpics which brewery did your dad brew for Pat? I own a small microbrewery up here.

Quite a nice beer glass, Sean. Would love to see more of your collection. Great capture.

A pint of Wicked Hathern ? Have found a couple of micro breweries here but nothing to match this sparkling pint!

Good photo, is good beer?

Oh, beer glasses eh? I had to knock that on the head for want of storage space! I've held onto a couple of the tall Weissbier ones with the twist though because they're so elegant, like yours. The glass I still dearly want is a Belgian one I think, with a cheeky little red devil on it, but I forget the brewery - that wouldn't happen to ring any bells would it?

Glass is tough to photograph without odd reflections. Good job... just thinking about it makes me thirsty.

Ah, Hof Breuhaus! We lived in German for three years and the beer and people are what I miss the most!

What a fabulous glass, so glad they lent you that one.

Nice pic Sean, I take it that it was a quick shot....you wouldn't want to keep that beer waiting would you? :)
Do you have any glasses with your brewery/beer names on them?

I have been loaned a few Peroni glasses!! Perfect for a long G&T!! or a Peroni!!! Where on earth do you keep your hoards of stuff? I'm quite disciplined about collecting now, moving house cures that!!! Lovely shot and sounds delicious beer.

Love the colours, what a gorgeous glass and even the beer looks good. (Though I won't fight you for it!)

Lovely photo! Head to Belgium, every beer is served in a different glass, some stemmed ones too :)

Great shot, beautiful colors. It makes me thirsty. The nice thing about collections is that ass soon as you reach a critical mass, the collection attracts new items brought to you by friends.

I'm with Fanny on the collecting thing..... A house move and the rise of minimalism (combined with my loathing of housework and clumsiness) has reduced my collections considerably! Beautiful glass full of the amber nectar Sean, I like your lighting here too.

Great foam and light, you gave me some ideas I need to try out.

Love it.
