Canary Wharf ~ 2 by seanoneill

Canary Wharf ~ 2

Another low POV of Canary Wharf with levels tweaked and a red filter applied to the B+W.

I am really pleased with how these shots have come out. I have rather a lot of shots from tramping around London that I will slowly put up over the next week or so.

I am glad that my shots of Piccadilly Circus and my earlier shot of Canary Wharf have been so well received. Thank you.

amazing capture and b/w.. i like the position of the tall clock

@fannyb Kneeling down with camera on the floor angled up, so I had little idea what I would get until I looked at the shot afterwards! Thank you, you are so generous in your praise.

@dmdfday Thanks Diane

Love all the clocks, a comment on the pressure of life and work in London. Brilliant and well planned shot Sean.

Brilliant b&w shot Sean :)

That's goodQ Have those clocks stopped?

Great B&W composition. The clocks and the people make it look more like a moment frozen in time/time stood still :)

Another fantastic shot, really love the POV - gives it an really close feel with the height of the buildings

Cracking b/w Sean, I love the hight of the shot. I feel giddy just looking at it. This would make a great cd cover : )

The clock in the upper right is a surprise and a delight to the eye. I like the soaring feel of this shot.

Oooh, Sean. . .can't decide which one I like better, but I think the clock makes it!
February 12th, 2013
That's another nice one, and the red filtering seems to have come out cleanly. Did you do that at the raw stage?
February 12th, 2013
@automaticslim I added the red filter after converting the Jpeg to B+W in PS. I rarely work in RAW, though I know I should!

4 clocks...I was so busy counting them I almost missed the people!!! fabulous! fav!

This is great processing - I love the silvery tones.

I love the POV on this very much. Of the group, this is my favorite.
The contrast is beautiful. Very very nice

Love this because of the capture of the people as well. FAV

Fantastic!

Fabulous PoV, I love the red filter for clouds and sky. The now almost metallic trench coats gives a depressing view of the future
