Canary Wharf again! by seanoneill

Canary Wharf again!

After many days of B+W I put up 3 colour shots yesterday, and they seem a bit out of place, so back to a B+W now.

Another shot from my hour at Canary Wharf a couple of weeks ago, with a little tinker in my new toy and best friend, Silver Efex Pro.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I've a very busy one organising a beer festival to raise money for my kids school, taking ben to an Archery competition on sunday (his first comp.) and cricket nets on sunday night. Plus several hours of work to squeeze in to put to bed some new business I won this afternoon. Busy, busy, busy.
Works so very well on this one.
A beer festival as a fund raiser? Never heard of that one. You should get a lot of money.

@cdonohoue Hopefully £2-£3000 profit Cathy. It is a well worn formula I use and it never fails!

Really nice, Sean. Love the black and white here and your very dramatic sky! You are busy. Hope that you can get a few moments to kick back this weekend!

Love the idea of beer festival fund raiser, would have raised quite a few eyebrows in this country though. Good luck, you should sell some of these magnificent shots too.

This picture brings Inception to my mind. Nice one!

At first I thought those were Bulldog's little people! Amazing perspective Sean! This has quite a threatening feel to it, the buildings and sky are quite dominating.

Spectacular!!! Fav! :)

Cool! What kind of filter is this?
February 23rd, 2013
@iiwi No filter, just processed in PS and Silver Efex Pro to provide more contrast than the original shot.
February 23rd, 2013
Great shot. Love the processing on this. I must look into silver Efex pro. Seems as if everyone who uses it loves it. And I love the black blacks that it gives (if that makes sense). Fav

Stunning! All the best b&w digital shots I've seen on this site seem to have that software. Beautiful contrasts and those buildings look very oppressive. This makes me want to visit London again
