View from Lean Low ~ Peak District 7

Shot on our walk in the Peak District yesterday looking from Lean Low towards Longdale.

Converted to B+W in Silver Efex Pro to give it a bit of an old postcard look. The colour version is nice, but as I was shooting towards the sun it came out a bit hazy, grainy noisy, so I may put it up later in the week

Better viewed large.

Thanks to everyone who put yesterday's shot on the PP. I am delighted with the response to it as it is one of my favourite ever shots. I could not have dreamed of taking a shot like it a year ago!

The peaks are so beautiful. I must say I prefer the colour though, although in this one you can nicely see the 'patchwork quilt' of the fields.

Love that skyline & the way the clump of trees follows the slight rise on the left of the photo. Haven't seen the colour yet but will no doubt like that better but that is just my personal taste.
