@rockinrobyn Thanks Robyn, for the fav and the heads up on the challenge. Not sure if I'm within the dates but will have a go. Have just looked Vivian Maier up, all I can say is wow, another wonderful photographer to learn about. Hoep you're good, thatnks for stopping by.
This is a really good shot. The shadows, the stools, the light coming through the window and the shelves at the back all work very well together. Looks very good in black and white also. A Fav.
@seanoneill I've been bad about viewing/commenting for a good while now (not just with you, across the board!)... but I enjoy your shots! A friend of mine mentioned Vivian Maier to me several weeks back and I just LOVE her work. So much personality in her shots. Inspiring!
@rockinrobyn I'm the same Robyn, it is so difficult to keep up, and after the exhilaration of a year of 365 that is so intense I cannot give the commitment to commenting that I once did. In a way the project becomes so much more personal, when you don't have to chase faves, and PPs and TT's. I am now taking the photos I want to take, when I want to take them. I think we all know where the friendship roots are deepest on 365 and a lack of comment doesn't mean a lack of friendship, respect and affection for those few folk who go back to the start with you. I hope you get my drift there! I am a better photographer for having made your acquaintance.
I'll have to google Vivian Maier if this is anything to go by. Love that shadow on the tiles and the woman absorbed in her book (great legs btw, did you notice?!!) fav.
Oh wow - this is just so perfect in b&w. And I like the reflection of the word on the floor. You would have lost all those details in colour - well edited. FAV
