I put a shot up earlier that I decided I wasn't happy with posting.
Thanks to those of you who took the time to comment. It was nothing you said, i just decided in the end it wasn't appropriate.
Here is an old B+W from my trip to London recently. Nice large as the detail shows up well.
A massively busy day today, I've been at my desk since 7am, and am now off to cricket for the evening before doingthe same again tomorrow! Still, I have progressed 3 or 4 projects nicely, and prepared for meetings tomorrow.
I'm glad I got to see it before you took it down but I understand you weren't happy posting it. I felt like that when I put up a photograph from Auschwitz. This is great you are so good at b&w shots. The sky is great as are the curves of the track. Enjoy the cricket.
It's always good to push at the boundaries Sean and I admire you for doing that with your earlier shot and I totally understand what you were trying to do. This is spectacular and it's a big, fat, fav!
You had me at the railway tracks. Ever since I took a 3 day train ride through Russia I have had an affinity. This composition is spectacular. And of course your printing skills are beyond.
That is a great shot. There's lots going on with the tracks, the clouds, the building, but somehow all the different shapes are united by the black and white processing. Fantastic large. I am intrigued as to what your earlier shot was that you removed?
Where's the floating pig? It doesn't look like it has changed that much since the Pink Floyd album cover shot was taken!
Another enthralling installment of this game today, but it's 1am and can't stay awake any longer. England 236/6... We need to get you out soon or our wobbly batting lineup will have no chance! It's highly unlikely we can muster another last wicket partnership of yesterday's magnitude! Hope you enjoyed today's play...
@fishy cheers Andrew. What an emotional roller coaster!! I've been there all match and never thought if need tomorrows tickets. I know it means as much to you as it does to me, so whoever wins, cricket will be the biggest winner. Photos up maybe tomorrow evening.
@seanoneill Congrats on the win, Sean. No one gave us any chance (particularly the media) but we almost pulled it off! An enthralling game of cricket, regardless of who you follow.
@fishy thanks Andrew, I'm commenting from just to the right of the pavilion, my emotions are in tatters. What a game of cricket, the sport was the winner. Great interview from Clarke. Going home to lie in a dark room...
