Red Arrows by seanoneill

Red Arrows

I had a very enjoyable afternoon watching the Leicester Tigers Rugby team win their first league game this afternoon.

As a treat before the game, the Red Arrows staged a flypast the ground.

There are 9 planes in total, but a combination of lens focal length, height of fly past and about 1 second to get a shot restricted me to capturing six of the planes.

I will put a colour version on my other album. I know it will be preferred in colour but remember, my main album is a B+W album.

Here is a shot from earlier in the summer when I managed to catch all 9 on a flypast.

This looks great in b and w, prefer it to the colour personally. I'll be a rugby widow most weekends now!

@cazla Thanks, I think I do too!! Is your hubbie playing or watching?

Both unfortunately. Captains a local side and then watches highlights later on.

@cazla Like me with cricket I suppose. My season has just finished so Rebecca will see lots of me now!

Awesome capture. I am impressed that you managed to get all 6 of them, because I can imagine they weren't going slowly. Definitely prefer this shot over your colour one.
