Paris ~ 35 by seanoneill

Paris ~ 35

Anpother shot of the Pont des Arts in Paris from our trip there in November. I like the way this has come out, and will post a colour version as well.

Here is another shot of it from one of my friends projects yesterday as well. A great POV from Helen.

A busy day today, out for a "christmas" lunch with a load of friends at a local pub before returning a for a few more drinks to our house and hopefully watch Leicester Tigers on TV, before writing all our Christmas cards and watching Sports Personality of the Year tonight.

Our Advent calendar task today.

December 15th: Find out something interesting about someone that you didn't know. Plenty of scope for that at lunch today!! Update: it turns out that my friend Wendy used to work with the wife of Status Quo lead guitarist Rick Parfitt once upon a time. They worked in a bank together.

Nice large!
Fave!

This is 'da bomb!' So much nicer for my eyes than the colour version.

I forgot... :-)

Lovely B&W shot, I had heard of this bridge but never seen a decent shot of it before.

Cool! Love the detail. Great in B&W.

this is fabulous!

I'm in a state of mourning after yesterday's mauling by Man City, though the two perfectly good "goals" given incorrectly as off-side might have helped. I hope to be at the Saints match next month.

Love locks! Nice image.

@gooner46 Don't mention Liverpool FC!!! or the arm-biter!!!

Sharp everywhere you look Sean, great exposure! Fav.

@gooner46 @ivan I think Arsenal were unlucky with a number of the decisions Chris, but a great game for the neutral! I may make the Saints v Arsenal game, undecided as yet though. Looking forward to the Spurs game next Sunday Ivan, my Spurs mate who watched the game with me today wants AVB out before then!
December 15th, 2013
@seanoneill Your mate's probably right. My wife, who knows (almost) nothing about football - she says! - took against AVB from the start! Why did Harry go?! @gooner46
December 15th, 2013
@ivan It is such a high pressured game when 6th in the PL at Christmas is seen as under-achieving and puts you in serious risk of the bullet. You have to feel sorry for Steve Clarke. That seems a mad decision.
December 15th, 2013
@seanoneill Of course they spent a lot of money in the summer window. I do feel sorry for Steve Clarke, often get sackings just before Christmas, owners panic!

The B&W is better for my eyes. Lots of detail to enjoy here.
December 15th, 2013
Love the B&W! What a great shot. I bet his was a fun location to shoot! So many fun details and patterns.

Fantastic! Love the dramatic B&W treatment. The textures are awesome!
December 16th, 2013
This is one of the best pov shots of the locks i have seen Sean.
Double lock FAV
