Alternative York ~ 3

Someone who couldn't afford a bed for the night it seems.

Wonderful composition with a story to ponder.

Is this in the park near the station? Happy memories for me in that park, many a picnic with grandparents. A poignant photo wonderfully composed. The tree trunk seems to ground that photo and give a sense of permanency that the guy probably doesn't have. Or am I seeing too much here? Quick question. Do you have any suggestions of good camera shops in Nottingham? My old camera needs repairing....

@newbank Hi Ruth, I hope you and the family are well. This was shot in the park behind the Minster, between the Minster and the old walls.
I've had my camera seviced at London Camera Exchange on Pelham Street a few times, but that is just a sensor clean etc. If you need a repair my guess is they would send off to the manufacturer so it may be worth looking at the manufacturer UK website, it may turn out cheaper. If it is complex, sometimes it works out cheaper to buy a new one I'm afraid.

@seanoneill I've had one quote over the net but knew you had been somewhere in town so thought I'd ask whilst you're about. Though today I had said to Stephen that I thought it wasn't worth it and better to spend the money or rather save the money and put towards a new lens for new camera.
