The Lion D'Or ~ Colour

I posted a B+W of this a few days ago.

This is the place that Rebecca and I have been for morning coffee a few times whilst in France. We head off to the boulangerie and leave the kids asleep (at about 9am!) and have our coffee and breakfast al fresco.
Sounds just perfect......nothing like breakfast al fresco!

Beaut pov and a real feel of the town in this street-scape.

This reminds me a French joke: au lion d'or sounds in French exactly the same than : "au lit on dort" and that means "in bed we sleep"... When we have to go out for a dinner we use to say to kids : "we go out and you go at the Lion d'or"... I don't know if that makes sense to you ..but it always makes my husband and I laught...not our kids!

It sounds and looks idyllic.

@cocobella Hi Corinne, you must think me very rude. When I saw your comment on holiday I laughed and told my family. Rebecca teaches French and the boys both study French. We all thought your story was very funny and Rebecca will tell it to her students at school. Then I forgot to reply!! Anyway, I hope you are well.
