Falkirk Wheel by seanoneill

Falkirk Wheel

78 / 365
This is another shot from our Scottish holiday last year.

It is of the Falkirk Wheel. This is a rotating boat lift that lifts boats 35 metres between 2 canals.

It is an incredible piece of engineering, and uses 1.5Kwh to lift a boat, which is the same amount of energy used to boil 8 kettles!

Here is a link to the Falkirk Wheel website if you want to know more.

@miseff Hey Fiona, don't sell yourself short. If you go back in my project, or anybody elses just 3 or 4 months, you will see a huge change in what we do. If you ever want any advice just ask, pretty much anyone will offer it if asked. Most importantly, enjoy the experience. If you go back in my other albums a couple of days you will see what I think about 365 :)
