When I got home today, most of the front of our house was painted its new color! I'm so excited, I can't wait until it's finished. You can see a bit of the new color through the bamboo leaves here. Of course, it's still a work in progress, and the shutters will eventually be a different color as well. It makes me want to get out there and do a bunch of other things to the yard/house to spruce everything up! It makes me doubly sad that my pretty new bushes and flowers are not faring well with the hot weather. Last thing I want to see next to a freshly painted house are dead plants!
