Technology Overload. by seattle

Technology Overload.

My world. Two external hardrives, two MAC's, two iChats and my large Canon printer. The photo of the day is on my desktop. The man is on a cell phone and the girlfriend is texting with her head on his shoulder. We are in a one way communication world.
How do you like your printer, we just got one like it.

Ha--amazing how anybody got anything done 30 years ago, isn't it?

It is amazing what we refuse to do without today. We are a bit spoiled.

My desk looks like yours!

Try explaining to your grandchild the wonder of the party line, the 5.25 inch diskette, the monochrome screen, 8-track tapes, the 'bag phone' - they look at you as though you've just said, "Son, hitch up the wagons, we're headin' for Dodge." Technology Overload is right!

Today's world without tech is unthinkable. I dont remember the last time I actually wrote a letter to someone and mailed it. We still send gifts and photos but the feel of a paper letter, written painstakingly by someone is lost :-)

yep, relatable. Drives me nuts sometimes. But every morning I gravitate towards these things. :) Craziness.

hahaha wow, I love how you even have a picture on your desktop that fits in with the theme of your shot. Great idea! My desk is empty right now and my coffee table is holding my computer...hehe.

it's funny you mention it is raining there, because today it has been pouring since about 3 AM. We won't be visiting Rainier this time, but we will be at Mt. Hood and around Mt. St. Helens. No serious climbing, just strolling and a some hiking this time. Love your part of the world!! :)

Wow, isn't that incredible! I was listening to a local radio show about kids being addicted to texting. It's amazing how many text 6k and up. The internet and computer technology has really pushed all us into the technological age.

You couldn't do a better shot for the theme! It's amazing how dependent on technology we've all become!
