City Statue At Work

This statue is located on Westlake Plaza and interacts with all the passersby. (Performance Art, Living Statue)
Makes for an interesting subject. You can't ignore it. it almost demands a repsonse.

This guy was amazing!!! I think my partner has the same photo of me from a few days ago. We had such a wonderful time in Seattle.

@biggirlart I am so glad you had a great time here. Next time you come we must find a way to meet and have dinner. Looking forward to seeing some more of your photos. It was beautiful here today and I spent at least an hour watching this guy.

Your style of photography reminds me of art you might find in the New Yorker - a snap shot of Americana. I love it and yet wonder if I would see the same things you see if I were in Seattle and vicinity. Like I said before I want to do a treasure hunt by printing off all your photos and finding where you stood...there should be a big prize for that!

OH MY GOODNESS! He's REAL! I didn't catch that at first. :S. Love, love, LOVE street performers. Wish I could be one. That is what I really want to do when I grow up. Totally serious.

@wellbride I know, how fun is this art. This guy was really good at it. Sometimes he would jump at a passerby and scare them. Made me laugh.

Connie, do you live downtown? I feel like I'm back there every time I look at your work. I would love to hear about your life growing up on a farm--where, with whom, etc!

These street performers are so amazing! I'm afraid if one of them appeared in our city, they'd call the cops! I love them and think this guy must have been amazing for you to spend an hour watching him! Wonderful Seattle shot!

I still think he looks like a statue, which means he's doing a good job. Nice capture, must have been fun to watch.

Hahaha ... that's great. I'll look for it when I'm at Westlake.

You know, you are getting some really great pictures there. You might think about putting a book together for the stores. Would be fun.
