Snow Has Stopped...Arctic Temperature Arrived

Two days of record breaking cold temperature. Icy roads make for limited travel. Hope it clears up by Thanksgiving.
This is Westlake Avenue.
Makes me feel cold just looking at it! Nice view tho, and hope too it doesnt interfere with your thanksgiving plans...

I don't want to sound mean, but you can keep it all out there. I won't mind a bit. If you must go out, be careful.
November 23rd, 2010
Wow! Just read in the news about your bad storm out your way! Quite an introduction to winter, eh? Stay warm!!
November 23rd, 2010
Wow...looks like messy travel in Seattle. I hope you have a serious warm up before Thursday. Stay safe on the streets, Constance.

it is interesting to see the before and after from yesterday to today's photo
November 23rd, 2010
Nice job with the different shots from the same viewpoint. Looks very chilly out your way!
November 23rd, 2010
wow..that is great same shot as yesterday??...but the difference is amazing
November 23rd, 2010
We're getting all the warm weather here--I just told Dorrena I would trade with her!
November 23rd, 2010
@clarissajohal I will go with that trade and give you my downtown flat to stay in!
November 23rd, 2010
It very rarely snows downtown because it's right on the water so this is a rare scene. Just be careful if you go out. It's suppose to get better. I hope so.
November 23rd, 2010
Brrrr cold... make sure you wrap up well if you off outside taking pics...
November 23rd, 2010
Good comparison from yesterday.
November 23rd, 2010
Icy cold! It is supposed to be 16 degrees there tonight? Wow.
November 23rd, 2010
Omg, snow! Eeeeeeeee! xD
November 23rd, 2010
lovely comparison shot from the day before. yeah, um, I had to turn the a/c on last night... I think it was in the low 80s today...
November 23rd, 2010
Really like the comparison shots, but you can keep the snow. Over the weekend I picked up one of those large log holders and felt really silly bringing firewood in with the temp. 75 today. However, I haven't forgotten last year's winter. Your photo is just a brutal reminder that it's on the way.

@seattle Great! You get the house in the 'burbs with the 2 dogs and 4 cats then. Key's under the mat--haha
November 24th, 2010
Great shot of the streets! Most of our roads up this way are clearing up, and it's sounding like temps will finally be moving upward by the end of the week...fingers crossed!
November 24th, 2010
I love these shots from above. I'm in for the night now but went out sledding twice today. Glad to be warm now....
November 24th, 2010
It doesn't look too bad in Seattle - We got a lot more snow on the North end. The roads look a little better after today though, which is good.
November 24th, 2010
Gorgeous! I can't drive in the snow but it is beautiful to look at!!
November 24th, 2010
Nice shot. I remember my brother in law telling me that Seattle does not own any plows because the snow usually stays in the mountains.
November 24th, 2010
@cirasj We do have some plows, but when we do get snow it usually does not stay. This snow and cold temperatures have not happened since 1885!
November 24th, 2010
WoW!! You definitely are getting some cold weather! Yesterday here was in the 70ties! Hope it warms up soon! ;-)
November 24th, 2010
Nice shot, cold, cold , cold!
November 24th, 2010
Oh my that looks cold - That Arctic blast even made it snow down here at the beach. Nice shot of it all Constance!
November 24th, 2010
ooh man I need to put on my scarf!
November 24th, 2010
Good grief that looks so cold! But beautiful nevertheless! Looks like a cake with a dusting...poor little cars, glad mine is not there! Stunning shot from that angle!
November 24th, 2010
Awesome, although easy for me to say when it was 33oC(91.4oF) here today.Looks so pretty!
November 24th, 2010
I want snow!! Send some this way :) Lovely snowy shot!
November 24th, 2010
bbbrrrrr..... but it makes a really great picture!
November 24th, 2010
Cool view. Really cool.
November 24th, 2010
Great idea to shoot the same view in two days. Nice snowy shot. Well, it doesn't look very arctic:) Lol, now we have -15 / 5 f, that's quite cold. The wind brings us a cold weather from Siberia. Today I had to dig our car from snow. It was covered with about 10 cm / 4 inch of snow. Hard work.
November 27th, 2010
white out!
November 29th, 2010
Great view and it certainly seems cold
