Seattle had another wind/rain storm yesterday. A few Cormorants were sitting atop wooden pilings that were shaking in the wind. I was lucky to get this shot while his wings were in a full spread. A 75ft blue spruce went down in my neighbor's yard due to the high winds but fortunately it did not hit any power lines.
Impressive capture. FAV. We too had a heavy storm yesterday with very strong winds. I was out with one of my brothers in his car and was afraid some big tree branch would break off and fall on our car.
