Diving and Surfacing

Lots of cormorants, ducks, herons were out on Elliott Bay yesterday. It was hard getting a shot because of water movement, and the birds were diving and surfacing at a fast rate. Thanks for the visits. The count down to Christmas is getting closer :).

An instant fav! I This is a great capture, and I love the water droplets on his back. l was unfamiliar with cormorants a few weeks ago until I spotted 4 of them in the middle of a lake diving and surfacing in unison. Now I love them and photograph them every chance I get :)

What a great close up of this bird!! I truely love watching them soar, dive, come up with fish and do it all over again. Then go stand on a rock and dry their wings before doing it again...or just swimming around chilling it!! Love the details and movement in the water!! FAV!
