Strength

This strong looking lion was feeding on a huge raw chunk of meat when we saw him at Woodlawn Park Zoo. Hence, his willingness to pose :). As I've said before, the zoo gives the animals as much of a natural habitat as possible. This shot was taken through a glass-like panel to the lion's outdoor area. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh wow, I missed this one before - gorgeous animal, and so beautifully captured with the soft light on his fur. They are hard to catch so alert but calm at the same time - in my experience, they either sleep or pace back and forth waiting for the meal. Beautiful capture.
