One leaf of this silver dollar plant was capturing the sun which created a silky shine that caught my eye. Today I'm off to Green Lake to cat sit. I had restless sleep due to a wind/rain storm that lasted through the early morning hours. Oh well... Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy these last two days of 2017.
Beautiful seeds of this lovely plant ( Honesty ). I let these reseed themselves around the Garden and just pull out the ones that I don't need, great capture ...Fav
You've certainly caught the sheen on this seed head. As the others have said this is Honesty and as @tonygig says, leave the seeds to naturally germinate and you will get a wonderful early show of purple flowers.
@quietpurplehaze@tonygig@foxes37@Cherrill FYI -- When I looked up the name of this plant, I found that it has several names: "Take the Lunaria annua, also known as the money plant, the silver dollar plant, the honesty plant, and moonwort. Because of their rather prolific nature, this plant is sometimes called a perennial." epicgardening.com
Wishing you a Happy New Year!
