Wire Clasp

A length of old wire fence all held together with these uniform wire bindings. Makes one wonder how they were made - by hand or machine?

My guess is they were hand done. Good close up to show the intricate work.

I asked my husband this question and he says machine. It is how old fashioned fencing was held together. He also said different manufactures and different types can be held together differently.
