Proud Parents

He missed the birth by one day. It crushed both him and his wife. They texted back and forth during the delivery so they could have a tiny thread of connection. He had two maore days of travel before he could get home on leave. He surprised her and showed up a day early. There wasnt a dry eye in the room. This is the first time he is meeting his daughter. It was an amazing moment to be a part of.
Again - very moving. This will be a wonderful photo for the couple to treasure always.

This is a very personal picture to both them and me. I hope I will be there at the "right" moment to capture the next reunion. It will be the best one of all. He will be able to stay home and finally enjoy his son and new baby girl (who will be 8 months old by then). Thank you again!

Simply just.... Some things don't need the clumsiness of finding the right adjectives.... Very tough she'll be 8 months old next time Dad comes home

Amazingly moving shot! I'm all teared up! My husband served for 13 years and it would have crushed him to not be there for the births of our children which was always a possibility with the forces.

I am so moved by how many wonderful and touching comments that have been left. It was a beautiful moment for our family and I wasnt sure if what we were a part of could be captured on film. I believe now, it was. Thank you! I have been passing on the comments to my brother and his wife. They are forever thankful as well.
