The new adventure into the wild is the Steven Knauer Promenade at Tacoma, WA. We are starting at the Marina / Boathouse. This iconic landmark has been putting people on the waterfront since 1903. Offering boat rentals, pier fishing, and a public boat launch. This site has had periodic renovations and restorations. The Boathouse store serves as a local tackle shop, gift store, and snack bar. A perfect place to stop before the walk. An inviting table on the left is just the right spot to meet up with friends.
Before heading into the wild, my walk started in the parking area by the ferry landing and transist stop. A beautiful sidewalk leads me past scenic views of the waterfront and Anthony's Restaurant. The walkway loops around the dock views just before the start of the promenade.
An interesting place to start your latest adventure into the wild. A lovely glimpse of the waterside walk ahead - fav! Looking forward to the adventure!
