This IS what you do with your jelly before the kids can eat it right ?
.
This picture has me at logger heads with myself. It is SOOC and I love it but part of me says I should play around with it for a 'brighter' effect.
What would you do and how would you do it ? Suggestions most welcome. Thanks :))
I feel your pain Sharyn, as I'm so indecisive, but I really really love this shot, and would keep it as it, but if you're really unsure, perhaps play around with it......brighten it up, and put that into one of your other albums :-)
This was a difficult choice. I like the reflection and the fact that you can see the whole spoon in this shot, but I like the colour and toxic glow of the green in the other shot !!
@allisonrap Thanks heaps Allison. I have played with it a bit but I still much prefer this one. You can see it in my other album. :)) @sugarmuser Thanks Sharon. I did have a play with it but still prefer this one. @redpants Thanks Sue, me too. @danacarruthers Thanks Dana, it's a pitty I don't know how to combine the two. The edit was tricky (for me with my lack of experience with edit programs). Thanks again.:))
I really always process my pics in Photoshop Lightroom 4. But your SOOC is brilliant. I imported in LR and processed it as I would normally do. http://jaapmeijer.com/images/2012/Linda.jpg
I increased the contrast, lightened the shadows and increased the blacks. But anyhow, be proud on your SOOC!
Im not sure what photo editing you are using but it just means working with the darks/shadows or blacks. I like the first one's spoon and the second ones jello...I suppose you could always select the bright jello and put it in the darker spoon...but you wouldn't be working with one image.
@tesssa Thanks Tessa. I do like to be different, lol. @katsamste Thanks Kathryn. appreciate the ideas. @lesphoto It is crazy sometimes, thanks Leslie. @alwyn255 Thanks Alwyn, I prefer it too :) @stuey Thanks Stuey, much appreciated :))
@djepie Thanks for the input Jaap. Not sure about your link - doesn't seem to be working (I am getting a butterfly photo). Appreciate the help all the same :)
I like this one! Love the glow under the spoon and the green jelly. I also like the story attached to this one! I can just image some kids rolling their eyes at their mum!!!
I like this one best, too! So fun. How did you reflect it? What surface is it on? Great idea, lady. I've been on a green kick lately, too! One of my favorite colors:)! A fav!
@pammerritt Thanks Pam. @rah2012 lol, they did have a little chuckle. Thanks Lara. @kph129 Thanks Kristin. @wannabe Thanks Catherine and for the fav too :) @ladyjane Thanks Jane. @nikkic hehe, Thanks Nikki and for the fav :) @mamalynn Thanks Lynn. @grizzlysghost Thanks Aaron, much appreciated :) @amandalomonaco Thanks Amanda and for the fav too. The spoon is sitting on a spare white gloss bathroom tile I have and the lighting helped with the reflection.
