For your challenge, how about taking a shot of something you see on a regular basis either from an unusual angle or using a camera setting you seldom (or not previously) use.
I have probably taken most things from most angles so I played around with camera settings for this one, and the miniature setting for a take on Whitechapel Station from the IDEA Store. There are some iconic City of London buildings in the background - the Gherkin and the Nat West Tower.
(I wouldn't normally do this by camera settings, but by post-processing, so hadn't used this setting beforehand.)
Thank you for looking and for your wonderful comments. You're all superstars.
This is so cool! Great effect and perfect choice of scene to test out this setting on the camera. It's also a setting I've not really ever played with in-camera.
When I see shots like this and hear about how they were done I realize how steep my photography learning curve gets. I didn't even know there was such a setting on a camera. But creative shots like this sure make me want to learn and do more. I am very appreciative of your commentary of how/why you take the photos you do. It's very instructional.
